UNIVERSAL BUILDING BLOCKS / BUILDING BLOCKS OF THE UNIVERSE The Wave is the single basic building block and driving force of the universe. If we look at wave particle duality and the works of Schrödinger and DeBrogli we can see how all basic matter and elementary particles move as waves and all electromagnetic radiation including light and gravity move as waves. I don't particularly support most the ideas behind string theory but I can definitely see where they could infer that vibrating strings could be behind the particles we see because everywhere we look vibrations inside a dimension of energy appear to be behind our reality. All waves are mechanical waves and they transfer energy from one point to another. They do this by disturbing equilibrium. Equilibrium is the natural state of nature and the more intense a wave is, the more energy it carries, the greater the amplitude and thus the greater disturbance from equilibrium that is carried by the wave. All waves have similar properties. The amplitude defines the amount of energy carried by the wave or its intensity and could also be seen as the amount of energy needed to counterbalance the wave's impact to return spacetime back to equilibrium. A certain class of waves share a special property, that being they travel at the same speed in a vacuum, the speed of light. Those waves are called electromagnetic radiation and because their speed is fixed there is an inverse relationship between their wavelengths and their frequencies. The longer wavelength the lower the frequency and the shorter the wavelength the higher the frequency. So the combination of amplitude and frequency define the intensity of the energy and how quickly it arrives at each point along the wave. Somehow we can manifest all of reality and all of matter through different combinations of frequency and amplitude and wavelength. We can compare waves by looking at wavelengths in nanometers or angstroms or microns and we can look at waves based on their frequencies like megahertz or gigahertz and we can look at waves based on energy and compare electron volts. Electromagnetic waves are transverse waves that oscillate two fields as the waves move. Both a magnetic field and electric field both oscillate as the wave moves and the energy of the wave defined by the amplitude and frequency can be found by adding up the energy output of the magnetic field and the energy output of the electric field. So there is a correlation between the intensity or strength of the energy moving along the wave and its impact on both electric and magnetic fields. One side of the EM spectrum has longer wavelengths and thus lower frequency waves and there we see radio waves that for the most part act solely as waves. There are really no particle-like properties of radio waves. At the other end of the spectrum gamma waves have short wavelength and thus a very fast frequency so they can take the energy inside the amplitude and deliver a constant stream of it at a much higher rate but at this end of the spectrum we see gamma rays acting more like particles than waves. The higher energy states of the waves produce more particle-like properties. In the middle of the spectrum we have visible light where we can see a mix of both wavelike and particle-like properties. Waves can merge if they are in phase and get stronger and carry more energy and thus increase in amplitude. The delta representing the increase in amplitude increases the energy carried by the wave by that delta squared so a minor adjustment to amplitude can significantly impact the amount of energy carried. An increase of 3 units in amplitude increases the energy by 9 and an increase of 4 by 16. Apply this to what we know about the ability of waves that are in phase to aggregate and increase amplitude and we can see how greater mass energy density would lead to greater aggregate energy being carried by the wave as a whole as it merges with other waves that are also in phase. Being in the same post and perceiving the passage of time the same and sharing the same relative trajectory and relative velocity would produce waves that are in-phase and able to easily aggregate together and this holds true for all different waves and spheres of influence inside any pocket of spacetime. Wavelengths and frequency and even amplitude can all be factored in when waves intersect and the way certain waves allow for an electrostatic recoil that can reverberate back to the source is how different waves can produce different basic forces. I state now that ALL energy transfer happens on some type of wave. Maybe heat is done by infrared and light is done by the visible light spectrum and other types of energy transfer happen in waves. Since waves have a wavelength and Planck defined the minimum possible wavelength then we can see nature around us manifest it self in discreet wavelengths. The fact we can quantize energy transfers and produce mathematical formulas should not be a surprise but should be an expected prediction of having a lowest measureable scientific precision able to provide us a picture of a certain smallest scale factor. It is said that all of matter is just vibrations and string theory goes so far to say that matter itself is made up of tiny vibrating strings while quantum field theory blames excitations in quantum fields vibrating particles into existence and so we could say the basic forces of the Universe are waves and the basic particles of the Universe are waves and waves are how all the different energies and particles interact as well. And lastly we know of wave particle duality where we can see the elementary particles existing as both a wave and a particle. It is the particles of nature riding the quantum foam of nature as naturally oscillating waves manifested as deviations from the equilibrium of massenergy inside a localized pocket of spacetime.
